HUNGARIAN POSTAGE STAMPS - 2022
1874. október 9-én alapították az Általános Postaegyesületet, melyet később Egyetemes Postaegyesületnek neveztek. Erre az eseményre emlékezünk a POSTAI VILÁGNAPpal. A 22 alapító ország között volt Magyarország is. Az egyesület célja, hogy összehangolja a nemzetközi postaszolgálat tevékenységét és továbbfejlessze a szolgáltatásokat.
The General Postal Union – which later got renamed the Universal Postal Union – was founded on the 9th of October, 1874. The World Post Day serves to commemorate this event. Hungary was amongst the 22 founding countries. The goal of this association is to synchronize the activity of the international postal service and to improve its service.
